Home Remedies for Irregular Periods
Papaya/Pine-apple contains bromelain which softens, breaks uterus lining and contract muscle fibers in the uterus and help to cure disease. Eat green or unripe papaya regular for few days but don’t take during periods.
It helps to regulate your hormones and hence treat menstrual irregularities. Take 1 tbsp of aloe vera with 1 tbsp of honey daily before breakfast but don’t take it during periods. Aloe is one of the best home remedies for irregular periods.
Boil 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger in a cup of water for 5 minutes. Add sugar and drink 3 times a day after meals. It is very effective to regulate periods.
It is helpful in regulating menstruation. It has antispasmodic & anti-inflammatory properties. Take ¼ tbsp of turmeric with milk, honey or jaggery. Take it daily to regularize periods.
Take a glass full of warm milk, add a teaspoon of powdered cinnamon and drink it regularly. It is also effective in cramps during periods. It contains hydroxy chalcones that regulate insulin level & then regularize periods.
